Due to the huge volume of feedback we’ve received regarding the new free online invoicing tool, we’ve made various changes this week to the improve the usability of the invoice application. Most notably, the online invoice creator is now a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) application. This means that the generated invoice looks almost exactly how it appears on the page when you’re creating the invoice. You can add your own company logo as well as customise labels and content on your invoice. We do not add our logo or branding at any point to your invoice. This means that your invoice looks professional and unique to your business. We still offer the additional services of emailing your invoice or mailing your invoice for you in plain, sealed and unbranded envelopes or you can download the invoice directly to your computer for sending at a later time.
In addition to the appearance and usability of the online invoicing application, we’ve also added ‘First Class Royal Mail Recorded’ and ‘Second Class Royal Mail Recorded’ delivery options as well as the existing standard First Class and Second Class postage methods. As before, we send all invoices out same day (Monday to Saturday) and usually within 30 minutes of you creating your invoice. Please note though, that we can only send Recorded letters during Post Office operating hours which is usually Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:00) and Saturday (09:00 to 12:00). All invoices must be sent to a UK address, although we are currently working on an international invoicing application.
